Pilot Study on First Nations Physical Activity Using Pedometers
The RHS National Team, our Regional partners in Manitoba and New Brunswick, and the Canadian Fitness and Lifestyle Research Institute (CFLRI) are preparing to a launch pilot study to assess the logistics of using pedometers to measure the physical activity of First Nations in First Nations communities.
The overall goal would be to implement a similar protocol in RHS Phase 2 (2007/08) to provide both a National and Regional picture of physical activity.
More details will be posted about this exciting endeavour in the near future.
